System overview
We were tasked with designing and supplying the hot water generation system for space heating in the main hall, replacing the church’s external diesel generator as part of its decarbonisation plan.
A split-stage heating strategy was implemented to maximise efficiency and performance.
Four high-efficiency 32 kW hydro units meet the majority of the building’s typical heating load.
When demand is higher, two additional 16 kW high-temperature twin-stage hydro units provide support, delivering up to 80°C to the secondary heater battery.
